Today in our quest to find a lorry we went to see ANOTHER possible vehicle. It is a really swish Renault 3.5 T, 2 horse lorry, backwards facing in navy blue (sadly not green 🙁 ) I wasn’t holding out much hope as it appeared to be very new and so probably over budget of what my Dad has agreed to loan my mum and I. We took it out for a drive and the ride was really quiet and comfortable, I drove it back and it was really easy to handle (better to drive than my car!) and I even managed to reverse park it perfectly!
10 minutres and a few questions later and to my delighted surprise my Dad shook on the deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited, this means I can for the first time in my life transport my horses without having to burden my poor mum with towing duties. It just opens up a whole world of possibilities, if I fancy driving to a nice hacking spot or taking Dustry or Soap schooling I can do it myself! 🙂 I can’t wait to go and collect it next week I think I might pop! My mum wanted an additional window added in the back door and some saddle racks fitted so it will be almost perfect by next week….almost perfect because I have my sights set on some GHE decals so watch this space!……….
Coupled with fantastic Badminton cross country footage today and some tasty Easter treats this has been the best day of 2011 so far…
